Meet Kyla!

My name is Kyla, and for me, yoga is a practice of learning through the body—cultivating presence and deepening our connection to feeling.

In my Yin classes, students can expect long-held restorative postures, generous prop support, guided breathwork, and a crystal bowl sound bath. Slow Flow offers a steady vinyasa practice with longer holds and an emphasis on alignment, breath, and core integration, creating a foundation for inversions and floating transitions. My Ashtanga classes are rooted in the Primary Series, with each posture held for five breaths and class beginning with a short meditation.

I hope students leave my classes with a sense of curiosity about what their bodies can teach them.

I began practicing yoga through Ashtanga in 2005 and later completed my teacher training in Mysore, India. My teaching is also shaped by years spent in yoga and contemporary dance communities in Berlin, where I was introduced to a wide range of somatic approaches that continue to inform my understanding of embodied learning.
