Meet Jen!

I began my career as a CPA, and worked in finance for multinational companies such as PwC, Sony Music and The Walt Disney Company- but I always felt there was something else I was supposed to be doing…

I started practicing yoga over 20 years ago, and for me, it has always been an opportunity to experience and practice humanity. I’m an idealist, an optimist, and I love people. Yoga is able to bring people together in a universal way, which I have always felt moved by. The practices can be applied by all of us, regardless of our differences, and that is what I find so compelling and hopeful! Especially when the world feels fraught, this practice offers perspective, well being and connection to self and others.

I love to share what I’m learning or what is resonating for me from the classic teachings of yoga, and add pieces of the other 7 limbs to class. I hope students have a space to receive what they need, and feel supported by me to do that. Being in a yoga class is different than any other space, and I am intentional in supporting that. Sometimes I play music, sometimes not! I like to use humor in class, and also speak to the challenges we all face in life. I think yoga provides a way for us to meet all of it.

I have taught for 14 years, am a 500-RYT, completed Baptiste Fit to Lead Training, have trained in Y12SR (Yoga for 12 step recovery), Mind Body Wellbeing Trauma- Informed training through Africa Yoga Project, and am a legacy lululemon Ambassador.
